Product Description
Tungsten carbide micro diameter rods are ultra-precision cylindrical blanks made from cemented carbide (WC–Co), typically with diameters below 3 mm—and often down to 0.05–1.0 mm. They’re widely used where extreme hardness, wear resistance, and dimensional stability are critical.
Feature:
Ultra-fine grain structure (0.2–0.8 μm)
Improves hardness and edge sharpness, essential for micro-tools.
High hardness (HRA 90–94)
Maintains cutting performance even at very small diameters.
Good transverse rupture strength (TRS)
