High Strength Thickened Hexagon Slotted Nut

Slotted nuts mainly refer to hexagonal slotted nuts, that is, slots are processed above the hexagonal nuts. It is used with a screw with a hole bolt and a cotter pin to prevent the relative rotation of the bolt and nut, see GB6178 ~ 6181 and so on.

Its function is to work with the bolt with a hole in the rod part and insert the cotter pin to prevent loosening.

When front and rear axle of the vehicle is fixed by fastening the screw through the front and rear wheel shaft, so that the frame and the tire are fixed together, in order to prevent the nut from loosening. The cotter pin must be fixed through the slot of the slotted nut, and the cotter pin to fix the slotted nut must pass through the middle of the shaft screw, usually both ends of the shaft screw need to be drilled, the diameter of the hole and the slot width and depth of the slotted nut determine what specifications of the cotter pin to choose.

When the selected axle screw and cotter pin and slotted nut are more matched, the nut fixes the front wheel and the frame through the axle screw, and the cotter pin fixes the slotted nut through the hole fastener of the axle screw, so that the slotted nut does not come loose, so that the vehicle is not loose when moving.
