Cermet Alloy description

Cermet is a composite material made from Ceramic + Metal — combining the high heat resistance and hardness of ceramics with the toughness and impact resistance of metals. On saw blades, cermet tips are brazed or attached to the tooth edges to create a cutting surface that stays sharp longer and resists heat better than many standard materials.
